Here are the first sketches of Maranello's futuristic 296 GT3 racer, which will pick up the baton from the Ferrari 488 GT3, which has an impressive catalogue of wins. In 770 starts, the 488 GT3 won 429 races and 107 titles, making it the most successful car in the marque's history. The 296 GT3's design is inspired by the 250 LM from 1963, a legendary Prancing Horse that won the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ferrari's new V6 racer is currently being assembled before development work can take place on the track. The 296 GT3 is slated to make its race debut in 2023.
