A Cruise Through Japan's Autumn Colours

30 November 2023

Autumn is the season where foliage changes colour from green to yellow and orange hues and it is that against this spectacular backdrop that 11 Ferrari owners from Singapore completed a memorable drive across some of Japan's most scenic spots from Nov 7-12.

Starting from the modern metropolis Tokyo, the 825km journey will take the drivers and their companions to the ancient capital of Kyoto in a tour that takes in futuristic skyscrapers to archaic castles and from magnificent coastal roads to twisty mountain climbs.

The first stop after departing Tokyo is Hakone, known for its hot springs and breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. Following that, the convoy made its second stop at the mountain resort of Takayama, famed for its old town.

Next up is Shirakawa-go, an Unesco World Heritage Site known for farmhouses with steeped thatched roofs surrounded by lush nature. And from the mountains, the convoy proceeded to Kanazawa's coast before arriving in Kyoto.

Award-winning restaurants were hand-picked to specially present Japan's rich culinary heritage throughout the tour - From umami-filled omakase meals to the sheer delight of grilling the finest wagyu.

The accommodation selected also showcased Japan's splendid reputation for hospitality as the Singapore group enjoyed their stay in modern five-star hotels and traditional ryokans with its landscaped gardens.

And through the entire journey, the group travelled in their trusty Prancing Horses, making plenty of memories in this tour specially curated for Ital Auto customers.
