On Feb 2, 2024, Scuderia Ferrari announced that Lewis Hamilton will join the team in 2025 on a multi-year contract.
The Briton will line-up alongside Charles Leclerc, who had extended his deal with the Maranello-based side a week earlier.
Hamilton is one of the greatest names in Formula 1 history. The 39-year-old has seven world titles (2008, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020), a record he jointly holds with Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher.
Since making his F1 debut in 2007, Hamilton has rewritten the record books with his achievements. He currently has the most number of race wins (103), podiums (197), pole positions (104) and most career points (4639.5).
